Uploading documents with your application
At certain points in the application, you will be asked to upload documents depending on your answers. If you fail to supply these documents when the online form asks then your application decision may delayed or you may not be able to proceed. OSCR does not offer a scanning service.
Some documents, such as Trustee Declaration Forms, require a signature - so you will need to scan them after they have been signed.
Scanning your documents
You can scan a document in different ways. Remember, whatever way you scan a document we must be able to see all of the information.
If you have a Windows PC or a Mac and a scanner, these devices usually come with software built-in.
If you do not have access to a scanner, you can upload documents using your phone. All you have to do is use a scanning app for your device, such as the free Adobe Scan app. When you are using a scanning app on your phone please make sure that the image is clear so we can read the information.
Alternatively, there may be local facilities with scanners. For example, many local libraries have scanners and you can find your local library here. Another option is speaking to the other people that will be involved in your proposed charity and finding out what equipment they have available.
